About FragSector

We are a team of passionate gamers and journalists dedicated to delivering honest gaming content to Australia.

FragSector team at a gaming event

Our Story

FragSector was founded in 2019 in Melbourne, Victoria, by a group of friends who were frustrated with the lack of Australian-focused gaming coverage. Too many reviews were written from a US or UK perspective, ignoring the unique context of the Australian gaming market — from server latency to local tournament scenes.

We set out to change that. Today, FragSector is one of Australia's most-read independent gaming outlets, with a team of dedicated writers, editors, and esports correspondents spread across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth.

Our mission is simple: provide honest, in-depth, and locally relevant gaming content that helps Australian players make better decisions about the games they play and the events they attend.
